Health Vision Enterprise appoints Rogers Luo as National Sales Director
Rogers Luo is appointed as National Sales Director for China operations with responsibility for overseeing Health Vision’s sales force, commercial department and the training team. Mr. Luo is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in China's pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Health Vision, he served as National Sales Director for the Hepatitis unit with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), China from December 2008 until February 15, 2010. Rogers led a sales team with 450 sales people and produced revenues of 1.4 billion RMB.

Health Vision’s targeted products have all been successfully listed in China’s National Drug Reimbursement List
The China's National Drug Reimbursement List ("NDRL"), which was issued by China's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security on November 30, 2009 includes Health Vision’s product Myrtol standardized (Gelomyrtol®), Azelastine (Azep®) and Alpha Lipoic acid ( Alpha Lipon®). The products will account for more than 70% of sales revenue in 2010.
The updated NDRL consists of 2,151 drugs and is an important component of the healthcare reform plan in China. The Chinese government is aiming for healthcare coverage to reach at least 90 per cent of the population by the end of 2010.
Mr. Alex Leung, one of the Managing Directors of Health Vision commented, "We are delighted to have all our targeted drugs included in China's National Drug Reimbursement List. This will further support our goals of doubling our sales revenue every two years. Health Vision will benefit from China's ongoing healthcare reform over the mid-to-long term."

Management buyout of Stada’s 51% share of Health Vision Enterprise Ltd to re gain 100% control
The Management of Health Vision Enterprise Ltd ("Health Vision") a sales subsidiary of STADA Arzneimittel AG ("STADA"), entered into agreement with STADA for the re purchase of the 51% shares held in Health Vision. All assets belonging to Health Vision remains and Health Vision continues to be the exclusive distributor for STADA’s product Alpha-Lipon 300 STADAⓇ (generic name: alpha-lipoic acid) and Kamistad® (generic name lidocaine and thymol oral gel) in China.
Health Vision is a brand focused sales and marketing pharmaceutical company specializing in commercialization of niche products from market entry to maturity. STADA, listed on the German DAX, is a company largely focusing in generic marketing in the European markets. With Health Vision’s continued focus in brand marketing in China both parties agreed that there was little synergy in the partnership.
China’s pharmaceutical market is forecasted with a CAGR of 22-24% in the next 5 years. Health Vision has positioned itself strongly as a brand marketing company in respiratory and surgical fields. Higher investments in the new products launched and soon to be launched will be the key driver in sales growth, together with attracting and retaining talent. “The strategic management buyout will allow Health Vision to enter its fastest growth period in the next 5 years”, says Managing Director, Zona Yim.

Health Vision Enterprise appoints Eisai China Inc. as the marketing agent for Alpha Lipon®, a company with a focus in endocrinology
Eisai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, President & CEO: Haruo Naito) announced today that Eisai China Inc. (Headquarters: Suzhou, President: Yukio Akada, "ECI"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Eisai Co., Ltd., has entered into license agreement with Health Vision Enterprise Ltd. (Headquarters: Hong Kong, Directors: Alex Leung and Zona Yim, "Health Vision"), a sales subsidiary of STADA Arzneimittel AG (Headquarters: Germany, "STADA"), for sales and repack of α-Lipon 300 STADAⓇ (generic name: α-lipoic acid) in China. α- Lipon 300 STADAⓇ is a treatment for diabetic neuropathic pain developed by STADA.
With this agreement, ECI will take over sales promotion activities for α-Lipon 300 STADAⓇ in China from Health Vision from August 1. Health Vision will establish marketing strategies, coordinate importation and regulatory affairs. Both parties express strong confidence that the cooperation will facilitate a faster access to the Chinese market.
α-Lipon 300 STADAⓇ is a therapeutic agent for diabetic neuropathic pains developed by STADA, and has been on the market in China since 2005. It relieves neuropathic pain associated with diabetes by its antioxidant effect, which reduces overproduction of oxygen species and normalization of glucose metabolism.
Recently, the incidence of diabetes in China has been increasing by about 10% every year, as part of a result of rapid economic growth. Currently, it is estimated that there are more than 30 million patients with diabetes and the number is expected to reach 46 millions in 2025. Diabetic neuropathy is one of the common complications associated with diabetes and may lead to paresthesia, which causes problems such as pain or numbness in the end of the fingers and toes. α-Lipon 300 STADAⓇ is used to treat these symptoms.

Health Vision Medicine (Nan Jing) Co., Ltd, a wholly foreign owned medicine company obtains GSP license today. It makes Health Vision the 3rd foreign company in China to obtain a GSP license. The GSP license allows us to license-in locally manufactured products, thus further strengthening our product portfolio and HV infrastructure.

Health Vision Medicine (Nan Jing) Co., Ltd was established today. It is one of the earliest established wholly foreign owned pharmaceutical distribution companies licensed in the Peoples Republic of China. It will serve as a logistic platform for Health Vision's products and as well enable the Health Vision Group to take on exclusive distribution rights for locally manufactured products.

Health Vision Enterprise executes exclusive marketing agreement with Shanghai RAAS for their innovative haemostatic product, FibinGluRAAS®, a dual syringe containing fibrinogen and thrombin
Health Vision Enterprise Ltd signed a Cooperation Agreement with Shanghai RAAS Blood Products Co., LTD for the exclusive marketing rights of FibinGlu®, a plasma derived fibrin sealant used for haemostasis in surgery.
Shanghai RAAS Blood Products Co., Ltd., started as a joint venture between US RAAS (Rare Antibody Antigen Supply) and Shanghai Blood Center, owned by Public Health of Shanghai, which was established in 1988. In 2004 the investing company Creat Group acquired Shanghai Blood Center and became the new partner.
"FibinGlu is a wide range topical sealant for surgery. RAAS is the brand leader in Blood Product field," stated Health Vision Managing Director Alex Leung. He said: "We believe that the sales of Fibrin Sealant will come to a new level in China. Shanghai RAAS Blood Products Co., LTD has selected HVE because of our track record of distributing high-quality products and the professionalism of our sales team."
